The Odds: +20000 at DraftKings

Arizona made the playoffs two seasons ago and was in contention for a postseason spot until falling short this past spring. Since, though, the team has lost its coach (Rick Tocchet), starting goalie (Darcy Kuemper) and a few other good players.

The team is back in something of rebuild mode, and so chances of the Stanley Cup coming to Glendale are roughly akin to a roomful of teenagers not checking their phone over a 60-minute period. Next to none. You never know, though. There IS some good young talent on this team, but steer clear of these Stanley Cup odds.

Arizona Coyotes Western Conference Odds

The Odds: +4100 at FanDuel

The Coyotes will move from the Pacific Division to the Central, which probably won’t do them any favors in 2021-22. It’s debatable which is the better conference, but I still give the edge to the West, even though Tampa Bay has won two Cups in a row.

The Coyotes have one conference final appearance to their credit since moving from Winnipeg to the desert. Chances aren’t good this season either, so pass on these NHL odds at FanDuel.

Arizona Coyotes Division Odds

The Odds: +30000 at BetMGM

Arizona will have to face high-quality teams such as Colorado, St. Louis, Dallas, Minnesota and Winnipeg more often now. The betting apps have taken note and made them the longest shot of them all to win the Central. Former goalie Kuemper, now with Colorado, will be a frequent opponent. It could be a long year. Norris Trophy: Jakob Chychrun

The Odds: +3500 at DraftKings

This actually is a pretty nice value pick at DraftKings. Chychrun posted 41 points in 56 games last season and is only 23. He is a player on the rise, and he should get a lot of ice time with this edition of the club. He is probably Arizona’s best overall player.
