The first week of NFL free agency rewrote the draft board from top to bottom. The Ravens’ blockbuster trade for Maxx Crosby collapsed after a failed physical, keeping Baltimore’s pick 14 intact and leaving the Raiders with just one first-rounder. Kansas City lost both starting cornerbacks and immediately pivoted to signing Kenneth Walker III. Buffalo addressed five positions in 48 hours. And the Rams might be picking Matthew Stafford’s successor at pick 13.
Here’s how the hypothetical NFL odds look for every first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh (April 23–25).

How We Built These 2026 NFL Draft Odds
These are hypothetical odds, not lines available at your US sportsbook of choice. But they’re built on real data. We cross-referenced three layers to calculate implied probabilities for every first-round pick:
- PFF’s 2026 Big Board -- 315 prospects graded, the industry standard.
- Mock Draft Consensus -- 12+ expert mocks from Jeremiah, Kiper, Brooks, Zierlein, Davis, Yates, Reuter, Reid, and others.
- Team Needs -- Sourced from NFL.com, ESPN, CBS Sports, PFF, and Bleacher Report. Updated for free agency and trades through March 5.
- 2026 NFL Combine Results -- Measurements and on-field testing from Indianapolis (Feb. 26–Mar. 2).
When PFF rank, team need, and mock consensus all align, the odds tighten. When there’s disagreement, the field opens up. The result is a probability map across 32 picks and 160 player-pick combinations.

Free Agency Week 1: Every Move That Matters
The first wave of free agency reshaped needs for nearly every team picking in Round 1. Here are the moves that matter most for the draft:
The Crosby Trade That Wasn’t: Ravens Keep Pick 14
The biggest story of the offseason: Las Vegas agreed to send Maxx Crosby to Baltimore for pick 14 (2026) and a 2027 first-rounder. Then Crosby failed his physical. The Ravens backed out Tuesday night, pivoted immediately, and signed Trey Hendrickson to a four-year, $112 million deal by Wednesday morning.
Baltimore keeps pick 14 and their 2027 first-rounder, but lost Tyler Linderbaum (C) to the Raiders in free agency. That means the Ravens’ needs at pick 14 shift toward WR, IOL, and CB. Our model has Arizona State’s Jordyn Tyson (+110) as the favorite.
The Raiders, meanwhile, are stuck with Crosby’s $30M cap number and only one first-round pick. They’ll still take Mendoza at No. 1, but the second first-rounder they were counting on to surround him with weapons is gone.
Dallas, which offered a first and second before, is reportedly unlikely to re-engage after already trading for Rashan Gary.
Betting angle: The Crosby situation is far from over. If another team clears him medically and trades a late first-rounder, the entire back half of the draft reshuffles again. Monitor this daily.
Kansas City’s Secondary Gutted, Then Rebuilt
The Chiefs traded Trent McDuffie to the Rams and lost Jaylen Watson to free agency, leaving their cornerback room barren. They signed Kenneth Walker III (RB) and Bryan Cook (S), which takes those positions off the draft board.
At pick 9, cornerback is now the clear play — our model has LSU’s Mansoor Delane (+110) as the favorite, matching Field Yates’ post-free-agency mock. Travis Kelce’s return on a one-year deal means TE drops off the board. At pick 29 (via LAR), they’ll likely double up with another corner: Colton Hood, Brandon Cisse, or Avieon Terrell.
Buffalo’s Blitz: Five Needs Addressed in 48 Hours
The Bills went on an unprecedented spending and trading spree: Bradley Chubb (EDGE, $43.5M), DJ Moore (WR, trade from Chicago), Chauncey Gardner-Johnson (S), and Dawson Knox (TE extension). That wipes EDGE, WR, S, and TE off the draft board entirely. Pick 26 now pivots to cornerback -- Avieon Terrell (+130) leads after Buffalo lost Coby Bryant to Detroit. It’s one of the most dramatic single-week need shifts in recent draft history.
More Moves Reshaping The Board
- Cowboys traded for Rashan Gary (EDGE) + signed Jalen Thompson (S) — then traded Osa Odighizuwa and Solomon Thomas, thinning their DL. EDGE and S addressed but DL need rises at picks 12 and 20.
- Commanders signed Odafe Oweh (EDGE, $100M) + extended Tunsil (OT) — EDGE and OT filled. Pick 7 is now about playmakers for Jayden Daniels, with Jeremiyah Love (+110) leading.
- Dolphins signed Malik Willis (QB, $67.5M) — QB off the table at pick 11. Jermod McCoy (CB) now leads.
- Panthers signed Jaelan Phillips (EDGE, $120M) — EDGE filled. Pick 19 pivots to CB, with Brandon Cisse (+120).
- Saints signed Travis Etienne (RB) + David Edwards (OG) — RB and IOL off the board. WR is priority at pick 8.
- 49ers signed Mike Evans (WR) + acquired Osa Odighizuwa (DL) — WR and DL addressed. Kenyon Sadiq (TE) leads at pick 27.
- Seahawks re-signed Shaheed (WR) + Mafe (EDGE) — WR and EDGE addressed. Pick 32 shifts to IOL (Connor Lew).
- Texans traded Tytus Howard (OT) to Cleveland — OL need spikes. Caleb Lomu (+140) leads at pick 28.
- Steelers acquired Pittman (WR) + signed Rico Dowdle (RB) + Jamel Dean (CB) — WR/RB/CB all addressed. CJ Allen (LB, +110) now leads at pick 21.
- Vikings signed Kyler Murray (QB) — QB settled. Safety Dillon Thieneman (+130) stays the pick at 18 to replace Harrison Smith.
- Patriots signed Romeo Doubs (WR) — WR addressed. EDGE Zion Young (+150) stays the pick at 31.
- Eagles signed Tariq Woolen (CB) — CB partially addressed. EDGE Gabe Jacas (+140) still leads at 23 after losing Jaelan Phillips.
- Ravens signed Trey Hendrickson (EDGE, $112M) — EDGE addressed after Crosby trade collapse. Pick 14 pivots to WR/IOL.
Pick 1: Fernando Mendoza to the Las Vegas Raiders (−20000)
The only certainty in this draft. Mendoza (−20000, 99.5% implied) is the most locked-in No. 1 pick since Andrew Luck. The Indiana quarterback won the Heisman, led the Hoosiers to a national championship, and the Raiders have already started building around him by signing Tyler Linderbaum (C, $81M) to anchor the offensive line. Vegas also added Kwesi Paye (EDGE) and multiple linebackers. But the collapsed Crosby trade means Las Vegas is back to just one first-round pick — they’ll need to find Mendoza’s weapons in free agency and the later rounds.
Mendoza will be the Rookie of the Year favorite at operators like BetMGM.
Betting angle: Zero value on the Mendoza line. The real action is from picks 2–14, where the board gets chaotic.

The Top 10: Where the Draft Gets Interesting
Picks 2–3: Jets and Cardinals Set the Defensive Tone
At pick 2, the Jets have signed Joseph Ossai (EDGE) and traded for Minkah Fitzpatrick (S), but still need a foundational defensive piece. Arvell Reese (−105) offers the versatility to rush the passer and drop into coverage. David Bailey (+130) is the pure pass-rush alternative -- Zierlein switched to Bailey in his latest mock. At pick 3, Arizona released Kyler Murray, signed Gardner Minshew as a bridge, and could be eyeing a QB later. For now, David Bailey (−110) leads as the EDGE prospect who fills their most pressing need.
Picks 4–5: Downs and Styles Make History
Caleb Downs at pick 4 to Tennessee (+100) would make him the highest-drafted safety in years. PFF’s No. 2 overall prospect reads offenses like a quarterback and tackles like a linebacker. Sonny Styles at pick 5 to the Giants (+120) is the combine’s most electrifying story -- sub-4.5 forty, 40-inch vertical, 11-foot broad at 244 pounds. These two back-to-back defensive picks could set the tone for the entire draft.

Pick 7: Jeremiyah Love to Washington
With Oweh filling EDGE and Tunsil locked in at tackle, Washington’s biggest remaining gap is a dynamic playmaker for Jayden Daniels. Love is arguably the best football player in the 2026 class regardless of position -- a three-down back who can run, catch, and protect. He’d immediately become the most explosive weapon in Washington’s offense.
Pick 9: Chiefs Go CB After McDuffie Loss
Field Yates’ post-free-agency mock specifically has Mansoor Delane to KC at 9. Delane had an excellent 2025 season at LSU with strong man-coverage technique. With Walker filling RB, Cook filling S, and Kelce returning at TE, cornerback is the only premium need left. Delane at 9 and Hood/Cisse at 29 gives Kansas City a complete secondary rebuild in one night.
Betting angle: KC drafting two corners in Round 1 is a near-certainty. The question is which ones. Hood at 29 (+140) is the safest bet in the late first round.

The Ty Simpson Wild Card: Rams at Pick 13
This is the sleeper storyline of the entire draft. Multiple sources — FOX Sports, Yahoo, and ESPN’s Field Yates — have floated Simpson to the Rams with their only first-round pick (No. 13 via Atlanta). Matthew Stafford is 38 years old. He won MVP last season, committed to playing in 2026, but the window is closing. Simpson threw for 3,567 yards and 28 touchdowns at Alabama in 2025, and his combination of arm talent and mobility fits what Sean McVay wants to run.
Our model has Simpson as the favorite at pick 13 (+120, 45.5% implied). Arizona is also in the Simpson conversation after releasing Murray. But picking Simpson at 3 would be a massive reach. The Rams at 13 -- or Arizona trading into the 20s -- makes far more sense.
Betting angle: If sportsbooks post a Simpson draft position prop, the under on pick 20 could have value. The Rams and Cardinals buzz is real.

Six More Picks That Could Define the 2026 NFL Draft
Pick 6 — Cleveland Browns: Mauigoa (+110)
Cleveland acquired Tytus Howard and Alijah Vera-Tucker to start rebuilding their OL, but they still need premium tackles. Francis Mauigoa is a plug-and-play right tackle from Miami. At +110 he’s one of the stronger favorites on the board.
Pick 14 — Baltimore Ravens: Tyson (+110)
The Crosby trade collapse keeps Baltimore in the first round. They signed Hendrickson at EDGE and lost Linderbaum (IOL), but their passing game is the biggest gap. Jordyn Tyson from Arizona State has the speed and route-running polish to be a Day 1 contributor. IOL (Olaivavega Ioane) is the main alternative at +150.
Pick 15 — Tampa Bay: Tate (+110)
Losing Mike Evans to San Francisco leaves a massive hole. Carnell Tate from Ohio State has the contested-catch ability to step into a WR1 role immediately. Tate is the best candidate to carry the torch Evans held for over a decade.
Pick 17 — Detroit Lions: Freeling (+150)
Taylor Decker requested his release, and the Lions need a left tackle. Monroe Freeling is the combine’s biggest riser among OL. Yates specifically flagged that Detroit won’t pass on a tackle if Freeling or Kadyn Proctor reaches them here.
Pick 21 — Pittsburgh Steelers: Allen (+110)
With Pittman filling WR, Dowdle at RB, and Dean at CB, the Steelers’ draft board simplified fast. CJ Allen called the defense at Georgia, is a three-down player, and brings the kind of leadership Mike McCarthy values.
Pick 26 — Buffalo Bills: Terrell (+130)
Buffalo’s free-agency blitz addressed five positions in one week, but CB remains wide open after losing Coby Bryant to Detroit. Avieon Terrell from Clemson can play outside or in the slot and has the physicality Mike Macdonald loves in his secondary.
Late First-Round Sleepers and Best Bets
No pick from 17 to 32 has a favorite with implied probability above 48%. That’s a wide-open field:
Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon (Pick 27, +130): FOX Sports compared his after-the-catch ability to a young Jimmy Graham. The 49ers signed Evans for the outside but still need a mismatch weapon. Sadiq fits perfectly.
Gennings Dunker, IOL, Iowa (Pick 25, +150): Iowa keeps churning out NFL-ready linemen. 47 career starts, a mauler’s mentality, and Day 1 starter projection at guard.
Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah (Pick 28, +140): Houston lost Tytus Howard to Cleveland and desperately needs OL help. Lomu was ESPN’s No. 3 tackle prospect entering the combine.
Colton Hood, CB, Tennessee (Pick 29, +140): The Chiefs’ second first-round pick will almost certainly be a corner. Hood, Cisse, and Terrell are all in play as KC tries to rebuild after the McDuffie trade.
Betting angle: The late first round is where sharp bettors find the most value. Wide-open fields mean wider lines and more exploitable edges. Focus on position props rather than exact pick numbers.

The Bottom Line on 2026 NFL Draft Predictions
Free agency’s first week reshaped nearly every pick from 7 to 32. The Crosby trade collapse was the headline -- Baltimore keeps pick 14 and pivoted to Hendrickson, while the Raiders lost the second first-rounder they were counting on. The Chiefs’ secondary overhaul makes cornerback their defining draft need. The Rams might be picking their next franchise quarterback. Buffalo addressed five positions in a week and still needs a corner. And the Cowboys, despite aggressive spending, still have holes at CB and DL that two first-round picks need to fill.
Pro days run through early April. The Simpson-to-Rams buzz will only grow as Stafford’s situation crystallizes. By the time Roger Goodell steps to the podium in Pittsburgh on April 23, more trades are coming. But the post-free-agency architecture -- Mendoza at 1, a defense-heavy top 10, and a wide-open back half -- is locked in.
