Chances of Real Madrid Signing Man Utd’s Paul Pogba Decrease

It wouldn't be a transfer window without the future of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba being the subject of speculation, but where will the Frenchman be playing next season?

Real Madrid remain strong favourites to sign the mercurial Frenchman this summer, but his odds have slightly drifted to 8/11 (-137) with Betway after the news that the Spanish club have extended the contract of midfielder Toni Kroos.

Real coach Zinedine Zidane has never hidden his admiration for fellow Frenchman Pogba as he looks to rebuild the Los Merengues after a disappointing campaign at home and on the continent this season.

Manchester United's asking price for Pogba and the player's own wage demands could also scupper any potential move to Madrid this summer with a switch to the Spanish capital best priced at 5/6 (-120) – the best bookies are all odds-on about the move.

Pogba came under attack from some United fans following the last game of the season against Cardiff, fuelling talk that he will leave Old Trafford this summer.

Paul Pogba Transfer Betting Odds

There has been strong money coming in on a potential return to Juventus with BetVictor cutting the odds on a move back to Turin from 14/1 (+1400) to 8/1 (+800).

The 26-year-old is still highly thought of at Juventus after four successful seasons with the Bianconeri before his then record-breaking move to Manchester United in 2016.

There are set to be big changes at Juventus this summer with manager Max Allegri leaving and with players also expected to depart they could look to re-sign Pogba with the move as short as 5/1 (+500) in some places.

Big-spending PSG are 14/1 (+1400) with Betway to bring the World Cup winner to his native France this summer, while a shock move across Manchester to champions Manchester City is a 16/1 (+1600) shot with BetVictor.

Barcelona, who courted Pogba last summer and whom the player was reportedly interested in joining, are as big as 20/1 (+2000) with Betway to bring the Frenchman to the Nou Camp.
